Dalmatians are a wonderful breed full of intelligence and energy but they are not a breed appropriate for every family. Each of our puppies are placed in the most appropriate home based on their individual personalities and the information and preferences we gather from you in the 6-Step Application Process outlined below.
Our puppies are really cute and generate lots of interest from prospective families. Given that our goal is to place our puppies in forever homes, we feel it necessary to conduct a thorough interview with each potential home; this is very time consuming...as it should be...we are talking about adding a furry family member to your household that will live with you for over a decade. Such decisions should not be made without thought and consideration.
Start with Step 1 below and make sure a Dalmatian Puppy is right for you!
Please watch this short video introduction to the Dalmatian Breed!
There are many other video's on youtube about Dalmatians as well...we feel the one above is the most comprehensive video to tell you both the "good and the bad" of owning a Dalmatian.
ALWAYS wait to select a puppy until you know what you are adding to your family!
Once you think a Dalmatian is right for you please proceed to Step 2!
Those looking for a FUTURE puppy can skip this step if they would like. Those looking for a SPECIFIC puppy that is ready for a new home now can take a look at our puppy page, Review specifics about personality and temperament. Remember we know our pups very well and will be very opinionated about puppy selection making sure we match pups to the best homes. Don't just fall in love with a picture! Personality is KEY!
Once you have a pup or two in mind go ahead and proceed to Step 3!
Begin the brief, written portion of the application. We use this form called BioQuestionaire to better assist you by trying to understand your family lifestyle. This helps us help you in the selection of the perfect puppy for your family!
*Note - please read each question completely before you begin answering as the written question disappears once you begin typing your answer!
Once you have completed this short form please proceed to Step 4!
Yes, we do occasionally allow breeding rights for some of our pups to pre-approved breeders. View our Breeding Addendum that is included with all our Puppy Agreements that have any type of breeding rights for more details. Breeding of our pups is NOT allowed outside of this agreement.
Once you understand our Rules and Practices you can proceed to Step 5.
AFTER you have completed Steps 1-4 then Please Click the picture above to schedule a 1-hour interview.
To determine puppy compatibility we not only review your BioQuestionaire, we also want to talk with you to answer your questions and make sure we know what is important to you in your next furry family member and if you are approved we can help you pick the best puppy for your family.
For folks wanting a FUTURE puppy this is when we discuss personality traits, health traits such as LUA, pricing and more so that you can complete the Puppy Description and Deposit Agreement in the next step.
For folks looking to adopt a SPECIFIC puppy currently available for adoption this is the time a specific puppy is selected!
IN EITHER CASE, once the interview is complete and you are approved for either a FUTURE puppy or a SPECIFIC puppy currently available for adoption it is time to go to Step 6.
Option 1 - If you have completed an Interview for a FUTURE puppy (that isn't yet born OR that is from a new litter that isn't old enough yet to be ready to pick specific puppies for homes)...then your next step is to complete the Puppy Description and Deposit Agreement found HERE!
Option 2 - If you have completed an Interview and are wanting to adopt a SPECIFIC puppy that is listed by name, and is currently old enough and ready for adoption then your next step is to complete the Request to Adopt a Specific Puppy and Deposit Agreement found HERE!
In either case, the Deposit is made at this time and is necessary to HOLD either the FUTURE puppy for you, or the SPECIFIC puppy that was decided upon in the interview for you until the puppy is ready to be picked up or a meet-up is set.
Our preference is to accept Zelle which charges no service fees (available via most major banks online banking or by Ap with a debit card) and for the convenience of folks using smaller banks we also accept Moneygram through Walmart's online money transfers which charges the sender a very nominal fee and uses a debit or credit card.
(Please note we no longer accept PayPal due to their increasingly high fees).
